INTIMATE SURGERY

There are different techniques depending on what you want to correct we will briefly describe each one:

• Labiaplasty or ninfoplasty: There are wide variations in both the appearance and dimensions of the labia minora, with enlargements that can be from birth, secondary or age. It is usually performed with local anesthesia plus sedation and is ambulatory surgery (no clinic admission required).
• Major Labia remodeling: The excess of fabrics causes particularly obvious bumps to wear tight garments causing an unsightly effect.As in the case of labia minora can be congenital, by age or by maternity. With the surgery they can be reduced to get the proper size. It is performed with local anesthesia more sedation and ambulatory.

It is performed with local anesthesia plus sedation and ambulatory form.
• Vaginal Rejuvenation: The maternity or the passage of the years cause the relaxation of the normal tone of the soft structures that make up the pelvic floor, it can be corrected with surgery to improve the vaginal muscles and to narrow the vaginal canal. It is performed with epidural or general anesthesia.
• Hymeneal Membrane Recreation: Some women who wish to encourage the youthful appearance of their external genitalia may undergo this surgery. It is performed with local anesthesia and sedation on an outpatient basis.
• Reduction of the enlarged clitoris: The excessive development of the body and glans of the clitoris that may exist from birth or secondary. The surgery restores its dimension respecting its sensitivity. It is performed with general anesthesia.
• Retraining of ambiguous genitalia: Anomalies in the congenital differentiation of the external genitalia cover a wide range of alterations, among which are the intersex states.  The specifically personalized treatment allows these patients to harmonize their external appearance avoiding situations of ambiguity.
• Treatment of Vaginal agenesis: It is possible through several flap techniques.
• Other Repair treatments: As a result of congenital malformations or sequelae of previous interventions, either by tumor or traumatic diseases (burns, accidents…) or by mutilations that cause flanges or scars on the vulva, a narrowing may occur Vaginal entry and even limitations on lower extremity mobility. We make your correction by moving healthy tissues combined sometimes with grafts or flaps

Patients often experience swelling and discomfort that will generally be more pronounced with greater repair. Patients may return to work within three days to one week and should limit physical activity for six to twelve weeks. Sexual activity may resume after about six weeks.
